Facetime

Ella loves to facetime with family! Today she got to talk to her great-grandparents in Alabama. It's so cute to see her watching and "talking" to the screen :)

Ella's Playmat

My office-mate brought in her daughter's old playmat today and Ella loved it! She can look at the toys hanging over her head and kick a noisy toy by her feet.

Baby Hugs

Ella has started to hug things and it is so cute! Here she is hugging a little bunny blanket.

Fussy Face

Before having a baby I thought that babies would just fall asleep when they were tired... this is definitely not the case. There is a window where if I put Ella down for a nap she happily goes right to sleep, but if I miss that window then she gets overly tired and it can take awhile before she finally gets to sleep. Luckily, this doesn't happen too often, and in general she is a really good sleeper, she's consistently doing 8-10 hours at night and takes really good naps during the day. But this evening she did not want to go to sleep and it took an indoor stroller ride to put her down.
